you & me

Most of my crafting time is consumed with Project Life, which I really enjoy so very much. When I’m as caught up as I have been, I like to pull together some traditional layouts. I was able to do just that with a photo we took to a recent winter adventure in Yosemite.

I used the Studio Calico January 2017 Scrapbook Kit Roman Holiday. My favorite part of the kit were the die cut pieces from One Little Bird and, lucky me, there was a whole other pack in the documenter kit. It’s pretty rare I use all of one kind of embellishment. I typically use it three, maybe four time and then I get tired of it and move on to something else. But these lovelies (the “one fine day,” “oh yes,” “twenty seventeen, the polka dot tag, and gold foil stripe label under the photo”) made the distance. I think I only have two left!

I also subscribe to the scrapbook workshop, where I got some inspiration and the printable that I also included in this layout, like the abstract trees, “make more adventures” tag, and “off we go” label, above.

The circles scattered throughout the page add some soft edges to contrast with all the right angles going on.

I made a process video as I created this page and, if you’re into watching those, would love a new subscriber to my channel.

Thanks for stopping by!
