project life 2017, week 10

I’ve been able to stay current with my project life album this year, which makes me super happy. I usually do pretty well until about May, then it really tapers off in the fall. Let’s see if I can break that!

This week, I’m using the Ali Edwards Bond story kit and one of her journal card sets that is no longer available. I don’t even remember the name of it! I had two inserts this week to document our partial week at Walt Disney World and some of the stuff we did when we got home.

The hearts are from the story kit. The cork pieces that I’ve used throughout the week are from the Studio Calico BFF add on kit, which was from February of this year.

In the process video I have listed below, you’ll see the order of these three cards above are in different order. After I finished filming, I realized I had put these two journaling cards, both with lots of color and a mini title at the top, right next to each other. So I switched them around. Much better balanced this way.

Here’s page two.

That digital brush is from Ali Edwards’s “Everyday Journaling Prompts,” which is an old Designer Digitals release.

Added the cork throughout intentionally for cohesiveness.

The bottom photo of my sister and dad is in a photo flip sleeve that you can adhere to the outside of the page protector so you have a flip up piece…

… like so.

For some reason the photos of my inserts didn’t really work out. Google photos is being weird with uploading them sideways and I’m too lazy to figure out why. All the details are in the video below and the insert bit starts around 15:15.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my stuff!
