December Daily

december daily, day 24

I worked again today, but I really wanted to get my gratitude list into the album. This seemed a good day to be reflective and still as we wait for Christmas.

One of my favorite photos from the season is when Maggie wedged herself between us on the couch and stuck her feet out like we were doing. She’s so damn cute (and a little shit stain at times, too, so she has to be really cute). The gratitude card is from the Jasmine Jones mini kit that I simply slipped into the pocket. The gold foil card and rubber word happy is from the Paislee Press mini kit. Into the 3×8 insert, I slipped a piece of paper from the main kit, onto which I stamped twenty four. The stamp set is OLD and from my stash. The “dec” is a silk screen and I used the navy color deschutes to match a navy in the paper (it came out black in the photo). I then attached an avery index tab and used sentiments from the Christmas Phrases stamp set.

On the other side, I used a December Stories 3×8 layered template to write down all kinds of things I’m grateful for this year. There were so many more than would fit. Onto the big photo of us (which I took in San Francisco), I adhered a gold foil messy circle and rubber circle word from the main kit.

And that’s all I’m going to post! I ran out of ideas for the 25th (I was seriously just ready to be done), so I used the structure Ali used for her Christmas Day documentation. In the past years I’ve done this, I usually go all the way to the 31st, but again, I was just done already. Thanks for checking out my pages! If you have links to your pages, I’d love to see them!
